The symmetric slice of $\mathrm{SL}(3,\mathbb{C})$-character variety of the Whitehead link

Abstract

We give a nice description for a Zariski open subset of the $\mathrm{SL}(3,\mathbb{C})$-character variety of the Whitehead link.
