Partial wave analysis of $\ddot{I}ˆ(3686)\to \hat{I}›\bar{\hat{I}}{\pounds }^0\ddot{I}{€}^0+c.c.$

Abstract

Based on a sample of $(2712.4\pm 14.3)\times 10^6\ddot{I}ˆ(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, a partial wave analysis of the decay $\ddot{I}ˆ(3686)\to \hat{I}›\bar{\hat{I}}{\pounds }^0\ddot{I}{€}^0+c.c.$ is performed to investigate $\hat{I}{›}^{\ast }$ and $\hat{I}{\pounds }^{\ast }$ resonances in the $\ddot{I}{€}^0\bar{\hat{I}}{\pounds }^0$ and $\ddot{I}{€}^0\hat{I}›$ invariant mass distributions. Significant contributions are found from the $\hat{I}›(1405)$, $\hat{I}›(1520)$, $\hat{I}›(1600)$, $\hat{I}›(1670)$, $\hat{I}›(1690)$, $\hat{I}›(1800)$, $\hat{I}›(1890)$, $\hat{I}›(2325)$, $\hat{I}\pounds (1385)$, $\hat{I}\pounds (1660)$, $\hat{I}\pounds (1670)$, $\hat{I}\pounds (1750)$, and $\hat{I}\pounds (1910)$. The masses, widths, and production branching fractions for each component are determined. In addition, the branching fraction of $\ddot{I}ˆ(3686)\to \hat{I}›\bar{\hat{I}}{\pounds }^0\ddot{I}{€}^0+c.c.$ is measured to be $(1.544\pm 0.013\pm 0.069)\times 10^{-4}$ for the first time, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic.
