Real spin bordism and orientations of topological -theory

Abstract
We construct a commutative orthogonal -ring spectrum, , along with a --orientation of Atiyah's Real K-theory. Further, we define -maps and , which are used to recover the three well-known orientations of topological -theory, , , and , from the map . We also show that the integrality of the -genus on spin manifolds provides an obstruction for the fixed points to be equivalent to , using the Mackey functor structure of . In particular, the usual map does not arise as the inclusion of fixed points for any --ring spectrum.
