The unitary dual of $U(n,2)$

Abstract

In this paper, we give a full classification of the unitary dual of $G=U(n,2)$ for $n\ge 3$. As a consequence, we determine which of these representations are weakly fair $A_{\mathfrak{q}}(\lambda )$-modules or special unipotent representations, resulting in a verification of a conjecture of Trapa and Vogan for $G$.
