Intersection cohomology of higher rank Teichmüller components

Abstract

Exploiting the non-abelian Hodge correspondence, together with the Cayley correspondence, in this paper, we compute the intersection cohomology of certain singular higher rank Teichmüller components of character varieties of the fundamental group of a compact Riemann surface.
