Abstract
Let be simple graphs with , and . The generalized corona, denoted , is the graph obtained by taking one copy of graphs and joining the th vertex of to every vertex of for . The generalized edge corona, denoted by , is the graph obtained by taking one copy of graphs and then joining two end-vertices of the th edge of to every vertex of for . For any real , the matrix , where and are the adjacency matrix and the degree matrix of a graph , respectively. In this paper, we obtain the -characteristic polynomial of , which extends some known results. Meanwhile, we determine the -characteristic polynomial of and get the -spectrum of when and are regular graphs for . As an application of the above conclusions, we construct infinitely many pairs of non-regular -cospectral graphs.
