Property (T) for Banach algebras

Abstract
We define and study the notion of property for Banach algebras, generalizing the one from -algebras. For a second countable locally compact group and a given family of Banach spaces , we prove that our Banach algebraic property of the symmetrized pseudofunction algebras characterizes the Banach property of Bader, Furman, Gelander and Monod for groups. In case is a discrete group and is the class of -spaces for , we also achieve the analogue characterization using the symmetrized -pseudofunction algebras .
