Abstract
Let be a real constant. We say that a language is -\emph{constantly growing} if for every word there is a word with . We say that a language is -\emph{geometrically growing} if for every word there is a word with . Given a language , we say that is -\emph{dissectible} if there is a regular language such that and . In 2013, it was shown that every -constantly growing language is -dissectible. In 2023, the following open question has been presented: "Is the family of geometrically growing languages -dissectible?" We construct a -geometrically growing language that is not -dissectible. Hence we answer negatively to the open question.
