Fixed point results for Prešić type contractive mappings in $b$-metric spaces

Abstract

The fixed point results for generalized Prešić type mappings in the setup of $b$-metric spaces are obtained. The stability of fixed point set of Prešić type mappings is also established. Several examples are also presented to illustrate the validity of the main results.
