Abstract
This is the second in a series of papers highlighting the applications of reduced and coreduced modules. Let be a commutative unital ring and be an ideal of . We give necessary and sufficient conditions in terms of -reduced -modules for the functor on an Abelian full subcategory of the category of -modules to be a radical. -reduced and -coreduced -modules provide a natural setting for a generalisation of Jans' correspondence, and lead to the construction of a new radical class of rings.
