On Ramanujan-Fourier expansions

Abstract

We heuristically study the shifted convolution ${\sum }_{n\le X}{\tau }_k(n){\tau }_{\ell }(n+h)$ using a normalized version of Ramanujan-Fourier expansions for ${\tau }_k(n)$ and verify they produce the expected answer.
