Abstract
We investigate infinite dimensional modules for an affine group scheme of finite type over a field of positive characteristic . For any subspace of the coordinate algebra of , we consider the abelian subcategory of ``-comodules" and the left exact functor which is right adjoint to the inclusion functor. We employ ``ascending converging sequences" of subspaces of to provide functorial filtrations of each -module . A -module is injective if and only if each is an injective -comodule for some (or, equivalently, for all) such . We consider the explicit ascending converging sequence of finite dimensional subcoalgebras of depending upon a closed embedding . Of particular interest to us are mock injective -modules, modules whose support varieties are empty. Restrictions of a -module to each provide new invariants for -modules. For cofinite -modules , we explore the the growth of .
