Maximal operators on hyperbolic triangles

Abstract

We characterize the boundedness properties on the spaces $L^p({\mathbb{H}}^2)$ of the maximal operator $M_{\mathcal{B}}$ where $\mathcal{B}$ is an arbitrary family of hyperbolic triangles stable by isometries.
