On the Growth of Lebesgue Constants for Degree One Fekete Points in terms of the Dimension

Abstract

We discuss the growth of the Lebesgue constants for polynomial interpolation at Fekete points for fixed degree (one) and varying dimension, and underlying set $K\subset {\mathbb{R}}^d$ a simplex, ball or cube.
