Sparse sets that satisfy the prime number theorem

Abstract

We investigate various sparse sets that satisfy the prime number theorem. The sparsest of these sets, $\{\lfloor x/n^t\rfloor :n\le x\}$, has density approaching $1/x$ as $t$ approaches infinity.
