Abstract

We study the chiral-even generalized parton distributions (GPDs) of $u ˉ$ and $d ˉ$ quarks at zero skewness using the overlap representation within the light cone formalism. The GPDs of $u ˉ$ and $d ˉ$ quarks can be expressed as the convolution of the light cone wave functions which are obtained from the baryon-meson fluctuation model in terms of the $∣ q q ˉ B ⟩$ Fock states. We present the numerical results for $H^{u ˉ / P} (x, ξ, Δ^{2})$ , $H^{d ˉ / P} (x, ξ, Δ^{2})$ , $E^{u ˉ / P} (x, ξ, Δ^{2})$ and $E^{d ˉ / P} (x, ξ, Δ^{2})$ . We apply the model resulting GPDs to calculate the orbital angular momentum of the $u ˉ$ and $d ˉ$ quarks, showing that $L^{u ˉ / P}$ , $L^{d ˉ / P}$ are positive and $L^{u ˉ / P}$ is smaller than $L^{d ˉ / P}$ . The sea quark OAM distributions in the impact parameter space $L_{q ˉ} (x, b_{T})$ are also calculated.
