On the centeredness of saturated ideals

Abstract

We show that Kunen's saturated ideal over ${\aleph }_1$ is not centered. We also evaluate the extent of saturation of Laver's saturated ideal in terms of $(\kappa ,\lambda ,<\nu )$-saturation.
