The $\mathrm{SL}(2,\mathbb{C})$-character variety of the Borromean link

Abstract

For the Borromean link, we determine its irreducible $\mathrm{SL}(2,\mathbb{C})$-character variety, and find a formula for the twisted Alexander polynomial as a function on the character variety.
