Effective mass of the Polaron: a lower bound

arXiv:2201.06445 · doi:10.1007/s00220-022-04553-0

Abstract

We show that the effective mass of the Fröhlich Polaron is bounded below by cα2/5 for some constant c>0 and for all coupling constants α. The proof uses the point process representation of the path measure of the Fröhlich Polaron.
