Gauge Symmetry Enhancement by Wilson Lines in Twisted Compactification

Abstract

We point out a simple realization of gauge symmetry enhancement by Wilson lines in QFT with twisted compactification in extra dimensions. We illustrate this in the field contents taken from heterotic supergravity in arbitrary dimensions toroidally compactified.
