Abstract
Background: Using the chiral (Kyushu) -matrix folding model with the densities calculated with Gogny-HFB (GHFB) with the angular momentum projection (AMP), we determined the central values of matter radius and neutron skin from the central values of reaction cross sections of p+Ca and p+Pb scattering. As for p+Ni scattering, are available as a function of incident energy . Aim: Our aim is to determine matter radius and skin for Ni from the of p+Ni scattering by using the Kyushu -matrix folding model with the GHFB+AMP densities. Results: For p+Ni scattering, the Kyushu -matrix folding model with the GHFB+AMP densities reproduces in MeV. For MeV, we define the factor as . The be much the same as the center values of in MeV. We then determine from the center values of , using with . The thus obtained are averaged over . The averaged value is fm. Eventually, we obtain fm from fm and fm of electron scattering.
