Abstract

{\bf Background:} Using the chiral (Kyushu) -matrix folding model with the densities calculated with GHFB+AMP, we determined fm from the central values of of p+Pb scattering in MeV. The high-resolution polarizability experiment (pE) yields fm. The data on are available as a function of for +Ca scattering. {\bf Aim:} Our aim is to determine from the central values of for +Ca scattering by using the folding model. {\bf Results:} As for Ca, we determine fm from the central value 0.17fm of and fm of electron scattering, and evaluate fm from the and the of electron scattering. The folding model with GHFB+AMP densities reproduces in MeV in one- level, but slightly overestimates the central values of there. In MeV, the small deviation allows us to scale the GHFB+AMP densities to the central values of and . The obtained with the scaled densities almost reproduce the central values of when MeV, so that the and the are in 1- of there. In MeV, we determine the from the central values of and take the average for the . The averaged value is fm. Eventually, we obtain fm from fm and fm.
