Sample optimal Quantum identity testing via Pauli Measurements

Abstract

In this paper, we show that $\hat{I}˜(\mathrm{poly}(n)\cdot \frac{4^n}{\hat{I}{\mu }^2})$ is the sample complexity of testing whether two $n$-qubit quantum states $\ddot{I}$ and $\ddot{I}ƒ$ are identical or $\hat{I}\mu$-far in trace distance using two-outcome Pauli measurements.
