Eigenvalue estimates for the one-particle density matrix

Abstract

It is shown that the eigenvalues ${\lambda }_k,k=1,2,\dots ,$ of the one-particle density matrix satisfy the bound ${\lambda }_k\le C{k}^{-8/3}$ with a positive constant $C$.
