Triviality results for compact k-Yamabe solitons

Abstract

In this paper, we show that any compact gradient k-Yamabe soliton must have constant ${\sigma }_k$-curvature. Moreover, we provide a certain condition for a compact k-Yamabe soliton to be gradient.
