Extremals in nonlinear potential theory

Abstract

We consider the PDE $-{\Delta }_{p}u=\rho$, where $\rho$ is a signed Borel measure on ${\mathbb{R}}^n$. For each $p>n$, we characterize solutions as extremals of a generalized Morrey inequality determined by $\rho$.
