Subcompact cardinals, type omission and ladder systems

Abstract

We provide a model theoretical and tree property like characterization of $\lambda$-${\Pi }_1^1$-subcompactness and supercompactness. We explore the behaviour of those combinatorial principles at accessible cardinals.
