Single- and and double-differential cross-sections in final states in the +jets channe

arXiv:2001.05341

Abstract

We present measurements of single- and double-differential cross-sections in final states in the lepton+jets channel, unfolded to particle and parton levels with both resolved and boosted topologies considered. Fully corrected spectra are presented as functions of the top-quark as well as system kinematic variables and jet multiplicities in data from pp collisions at TeV collected in 2015 and 2016 by the ATLAS detector at the LHC, corresponding to integrated luminosity of . Measurements provided detailed information on the top-quark production and decay, enabling precision tests of modern Monte Carlo generators as well as latest fixed-order Standard Model predictions. Good agreement between the theoretical predictions and the data is observed within reduced systematic uncertainties w.r.t. previous ATLAS measurements.
