Locally solvable subnormal and quasinormal subgroups of division rings

Abstract

Let $D$ be a division ring with center $F$, and $G$ a subnormal or quasinormal subgroup of $D^{\ast }$. We show that if $G$ is locally solvable, then $G$ is contained in $F$.
