Divergence functions in Information Geometry

Abstract

A recently introduced canonical divergence $\mathcal{D}$ for a dual structure $(\mathrm{g},\nabla ,{\nabla }^{\ast })$ is discussed in connection to other divergence functions. Finally, open problems concerning symmetry properties are outlined.
