Tensors for tending to tensions in decays

Abstract
We propose a manifestly gauge invariant effective tensor operator that can account for the asymmetry anomaly in decays, contrary to the claim made in literature. Additionally, this operator can also help in resolving the long-standing discrepancy in the value of extracted from inclusive decays. By construction, the operator evades bounds from neutron electric dipole moment, while keeping the extraction of from exclusive decays unaffected. We explicitly provide a renormalizable model of flavor symmetries that yields the desired effective tensor operator.
