The Gromov norm of the quaternionic Kähler class

Abstract

We prove that the embedding of the quaternionic hyperbolic disc $H_{\mathbb{H}}^1$ into quaternionic hyperbolic $n$-space $H_{\mathbb{H}}^n$ is tight and thereby obtain the value of the Gromov norm of the quaternionic Kähler class.
