On the distribution of $\text{Cl}(K)[l^{\infty }]$ for degree $l$ cyclic fields

Abstract

Using a recent breakthrough of Alexander Smith, we prove that $l^{\infty }$-class groups of cyclic degree $l$ fields have the distribution conjectured by Gerth under GRH.
