Where was past low-entropy?

Abstract

I identify where precisely is low-entropy located in the early universe, arguing that some common answers overplay the role of gravity. I discuss the available interpretations of the "improbability" of this early low-entropy.

The revision contains a new section detailing the entropy evolution and answering a question posed by a cosmologist: how can the system go out of equilibrium is the entropy remains constant? 9 pages, 3 figures
