Measurements of $\hat{I}{\text{c◯}}^{-}$ Branching Fractions

Abstract

Using $e^{+}{e}^{-}$ annihilation data taken at the CESR collider with the CLEO-c detector, measurements of two main $\hat{I}{\text{c◯}}^{-}$ branching fractions have been made using the reaction $\ddot{I}ˆ(2S)\to \hat{I}{\text{c◯}}^{-}\overline{\hat{I}}{\text{c◯}}^{+}$, hyperon pair production at $\sqrt{s}=3.69$~GeV, the peak of the $\ddot{I}ˆ(2S)$ resonance. $\hat{I}{\text{c◯}}^{-}$ decay channels are identified through momentum distributions of charged particles, and systematics of the $\hat{I}{\text{c◯}}^{-}$ branching fractions have been studied. The result gives: $\mathcal{B}(\hat{I}{\text{c◯}}^{-}\to \hat{I}{›}^0{K}^{-})=(68.9\pm 9.5\pm 4.3)\%$, and $\mathcal{B}(\hat{I}{\text{c◯}}^{-}\to \hat{I}{ž}^0\ddot{I}{€}^{-})=(19.0\pm 4.0\pm 1.2)\%$.
