A note on Ricci soliton in almost Kenmotsu manifold

Abstract

In this short note it is established that there does not exist Ricci soliton with the Reeb potential vector field in an almost Kenmotsu manifold (briefly, $\mathcal{A}\mathcal{K}\mathcal{M}$).
