Abstract
Let be a finite abelian group of order and let denote the -simplex on the vertex set . The sum complex associated to a subset and , is the -dimensional simplicial complex obtained by taking the full -skeleton of together with all -subsets that satisfy . Let denote the space of complex valued -cochains of . Let denote the reduced -th Laplacian of , and let be the minimal eigenvalue of . It is shown that for any and there exists a constant such that if is a random subset of of size , then asymptotically almost surely.
