Analytic construction of baroclinic tori by non-linear summation
arXiv:1708.08716 · doi:10.1002/asna.201713360
Abstract
In this paper analytical method for constructing baroclinic flow is presented. Presented method allows the construction of baroclinic tori with significant vertical shear, which are stable by the Solberg--Høiland criteria. The presented method can be useful in the investigations of the influence of background structure on vertical-shear- and entropy-driven instabilities.
