Abstract
This study examines the finite -representation type (abbr. FFRT) property of a two-dimensional normal graded ring in characteristic , using notions from the theory of algebraic stacks. Given a graded ring , we consider an orbifold curve , which is a root stack over the smooth curve , such that is the section ring associated with a line bundle on . The FFRT property of is then rephrased with respect to the Frobenius push-forwards on the orbifold curve . As a result, we see that if the singularity of is not log terminal, then has FFRT only in exceptional cases where the characteristic divides a weight of .
