Search for $\mathbf{B}\to \mathbf{h}\hat{\mathbf{I}}½\overline{\hat{\mathbf{I}}}½$ decays with semileptonic tagging at Belle

Abstract

We present the results of a search for the rare decays $B\to h\hat{I}½\overline{\hat{I}}½$, where $h$ stands for $K^{+},K_{\mathrm{S}}^0,K^{\ast +},K^{\ast 0},\ddot{I}{€}^{+},\ddot{I}{€}^0,\ddot{I}{}^{+}$ and $\ddot{I}{}^0$. The results are obtained with $772\times 10^6$ $B\overline{B}$ pairs collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB $e^{+}{e}^{-}$ collider. We reconstruct one $B$ meson in a semileptonic decay and require a single $h$ meson but nothing else on the signal side. We observe no significant signal and set upper limits on the branching fractions. The limits set on the $B\to K_{\mathrm{S}}^0\hat{I}½\overline{\hat{I}}½$, $B^0\to K^{\ast 0}\hat{I}½\overline{\hat{I}}½$, $B\to \ddot{I}{€}^{+}\hat{I}½\overline{\hat{I}}½$, $B^0\to \ddot{I}{€}^0\hat{I}½\overline{\hat{I}}½$, $B^{+}\to \ddot{I}{}^{+}\hat{I}½\overline{\hat{I}}½$, and $B^0\to \ddot{I}{}^0\hat{I}½\overline{\hat{I}}½$ channels are the world's most stringent.
