Higher l^2-Betti numbers of universal quantum groups

Abstract

We calculate all ${\ell }^2$-Betti numbers of the universal discrete Kac quantum groups ${\hat{U}}_n^{+}$ as well as their full half-liberated counterparts ${\hat{U}}_n^{\ast }$.
