On Infinitesimal Strebel Points

Abstract

In this paper, we prove that if $X$ is a Riemann surface of infinite analytic type and $[\mu {]}_T$ is any element of Teichmüller space, then there exists ${\mu }_1\in [\mu {]}_T$ so that ${\mu }_1$ is an infinitesimal Strebel point.
