On the vanishing of $S{K}_1$ of certain Iwasawa algebras

Abstract

We prove the vanishing of $SK_1(\Zp\ps{G})$ when $G$ is either $\Zp^n\rtimes\Zp$ or a Heisenberg pro-$p$ group.
