First order local invariants of planar caustics

Abstract

We study first order local invariants of Vassiliev type for Lagrangian immersions with generic planar caustics. For this we produce some examples of 2-parameter families of Lagrangian maps and study their bifurcation diagrams.

arXiv commentThis paper has been withdrawn because it seems an invariant dual to the D_4 strata is missing. In any case the bifurcation diagrams are correct and the invariants obtained still hold
