arXiv:1510.05524

Abstract

The packing chromatic number of a graph is the smallest integer needed to proper color the vertices of in such a way the distance between any two vertices having color be at least . We obtain for , where is the Hamming graph of words of length and alphabet with symbols, and tabulate bounds of them for up to 10000 vertices. We also give a polynomial reduction from the problem of finding to the Maximum Stable Set problem.
