A breakdown of a universal hydrodynamic relation in Gauss-Bonnet gravity

Abstract

We compute the second order transport coefficients of a hydrodynamic theory with Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity dual. We show the breakdown of the universal hydrodynamic relation $-2{\lambda }_0+4{\lambda }_1-{\lambda }_2=0$ for the general values of the Gauss-Bonnet coupling.
