The Whitney extension theorem in high dimensions

Abstract

We prove a variant of the standard Whitney extension theorem for ${\mathcal{C}}^m({\mathbb{R}}^n)$, in which the norm of the extension operator has polynomial growth in $n$ for fixed $m$.
