Recent Results from Long-Baseline Neutrino Experiments

Abstract

We are moving into an era of precision measurements of neutrino mixing, and it is increasingly necessary to use a 3-flavor framework to describe the results. This paper will focus on recent results from long-baseline neutrino experiments, especially accelerator-based beams. Using ${\nu }_{\mu }$ beams, we have now observed the disappearance of ${\nu }_{\mu }$, and the appearance of both ${\nu }_e$ and ${\nu }_{\tau }$. It will also briefly describe some of the long-baseline experiments that have recently started operation, from which data are expected soon.
