A covariant Stinespring type theorem for -maps

arXiv:1410.4491

Abstract

Let be a linear map from a unital -algebra $\CMcal A$ to a von Neumann algebra $\mathematical B$ and let $\CMcal C$ be a unital -algebra. A map from a Hilbert $\CMcal A$-module to a von Neumann $\CMcal C$-$\CMcal B$ module is called a -map if $$\langle T(x),T(y)\rangle=τ(\langle x, y\rangle)~\mbox{for all}~x,y\in E.$$ A Stinespring type theorem for -maps and its covariant version are obtained when is completely positive. We show that there is a bijective correspondence between the set of all -maps from to which are -covariant with respect to a dynamical system and the set of all -covariant -maps from the crossed product to , where and are completely positive.
