Lifetimes of some $b$-flavored hadrons

Abstract

Recent measurements of lifetimes of some $b$-flavored hadrons are presented and interpreted in the context of theoretical models, especially the Heavy Quark Expansion. Decay widths and decay width differences in the $B_s^0-{\overline{B}}_s^0$ system are discussed from studies of decays into the final states $J/\ddot{I}ˆK^{+}{K}^{-}$, $J/\ddot{I}ˆ\ddot{I}{€}^{+}\ddot{I}{€}^{-}$, $D_s^{+}{D}_s^{-}$, $K^{+}{K}^{-}$, and $D_s^{\pm }\ddot{I}{€}^{\mp }$. Lifetime measurements of the baryons $\hat{I}{›}_b^0$, $\hat{I}{ž}_b^{-}$, $\hat{I}{ž}_b^0$, and $\hat{I}{\text{c◯}}_b^{-}$ are also shown.
